NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Three people face charges after North Charleston Police executed a search warrant at a motel earlier this month.

Lushwanna Gathers-Drayton, 22; Jerome Simmons Jr., 37; and Glenn Jerome Ferguson, 48, face a combined total of more than 50 charges, according to jail records.

Police arrested the three on Aug. 4 after the North Charleston Police Narcotics Unit and the Intelligence Led Policing Unit searched the Charleston Lodge in an illegal drug and weapons investigation, the agency said in a statement.

During the operation, investigators say they found and seized “significant” amounts of illegal drugs, including cocaine base, cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy, and fentanyl. They also recovered three firearms, rifle magazines with ammunition, a digital scale
