Jim Kelly’s newborn grandson is out of the hospital, the legendary Bills quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer announced Aug. 16 on Instagram.

The infant, Beau Hunter Bean, was hospitalized for more than a month after his birth for an undisclosed serious complication.

In the Instagram post, Kelly revealed that Beau, the son of his eldest daughter, Erin, and her husband, Parker Bean, had been in a pediatric cardiac care unit and thanked supporters for their prayers.

“We cannot thank you enough for praying for Beau and our family,” Kelly wrote. “His heart still has a lot of healing ahead, so prayer doesn’t stop here. Believing for more healing each day. One day at a time.”
