The deal that was publicly said to be done by one side, but not by the other , is finally a done deal on both sides.

The Browns have finalized a three-year deal with former University of Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond. He flew into Cleveland on the night of Aug. 16, and the deal was completed Aug. 18, a league source confirmed for the Beacon Journal.

The deal, as first reported by Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot, is a fully-guaranteed three-year, $3.018 million, with a $53,000 signing bonus.

Bond, 21, announced on social media on Aug. 14 that he was signing with the Browns. That announcement — which was put out on the letterhead of CMV Sports, the agency representing him — included four separate mentions of either " Cleveland Browns ," "Browns" or "Cleveland," as well as directly
