REED CITY — The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Sunday that the victim of a boating accident was recovered during resumed search efforts.

According to an Aug. 17 news release, deputies began recovery operations at 8 a.m. Aug. 17 and located the victim shortly after, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The department extended condolences to the victim’s family and thanked Osceola County residents for giving first responders space to work during a busy weekend.
