Air Canada says the ongoing strike by its flight attendants was declared “unlawful” by the Canada Industrial Relations Board on Sunday.

The airline on Monday said the labour board has ordered the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) to “cease all unlawful activities” and return its members to work.

The board has also directed the union to provide public notice to all members by Monday at noon (eastern time) that it has revoked its declaration or authorization of strike activities.
