Detectives are trying to piece together what happened in the murders of three people, including a woman gunned down in a car and two men fatally shot in a truck with an attached trailer, who were found in a remote area of Northeast Antelope Valley Sunday afternoon.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received shots-fired calls around 4:45 p.m. in the area of 215th Street East between East Avenue Q and East Palmdale Boulevard.
“When Lancaster deputies arrived on scene, they located a female adult in her 40s suffering from gunshot wounds in a vehicle,” Lt. Dejong said.
The deputies rendered aid to the woman, but she was later pronounced dead at the scene by L.A. County Fire Department personnel.
