ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Sunday marked a major milestone for the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport, which celebrated 70 years of service with a special anniversary ceremony.

It was exactly seven decades ago that the first flight took off from the airport, bound for Washington, D.C.
