After a win in Game 1 of the WCBL Championships on the road in Regina, the Sylvan Lake Gulls returned home with momentum and plenty of reasons to believe this was their year.

The Gulls fell short of the ultimate prize, dropping the next two games at Gulls Stadium to the Regina Red Sox, who were crowned league champions on Saturday night.

"While the ending isn’t what we dreamed of, we hold our heads high after an unforgettable season filled with grit, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime.
