Peterborough police say a man arrested following a stabbing Saturday was wanted on an Ontario-wide arrest warrant by another police service.

Officers were called to a home on Southlawn Drive, near Otonabee Drive , around 7 p.m. Saturday. Police said a 42-year-old woman was stabbed and taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre after she was initially treated by bystanders.
