A 22-year-old man is facing 11 charges related to possession of weapons and assaulting a police officer.

The suspect, Ethan Fiddler, made his first provincial court appearance Monday morning.

He is charged with possessing a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a firearm, assaulting a peace officer with a weapon, possessing a loaded/restricted firearm and failing to comply with conditions of a release order.

Shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2025, officers saw a male walking and acting suspiciously in the 13th Avenue and Osler Street area.
