MOSCOW, Idaho — A judge has temporarily blocked the city of Moscow from releasing additional public records related to the quadruple murder case involving Bryan Kohberger, who pleaded guilty in July to killing four University of Idaho students.

Idaho Second District Judge Marshall issued a temporary restraining order Aug. 15 prohibiting the city from releasing images, audio or video depicting the inside of victim Madison Mogen's bedroom. The order came after Mogen's mother, Karen Laramie, petitioned the Latah County District Court for an injunction to prevent further record releases.

The legal action followed Moscow's recent release of redacted crime scene photos in response to a public records request.
