Well, it didn't take long for the Washington Commanders to use their newest toy on offense.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who the Commanders acquired via trade from the San Francisco 49ers, had the honor of getting the first touch of the game, and it went exactly how people thought it would. Offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury sent him in motion before the ball was snapped and took the ball from quarterback Jayden Daniels on a jet sweep. Samuel followed his blockers and got an edge on the Bengals' defense, cutting up the sideline for a 19-yard gain.

The play helped ignite the Commanders' offense, as the unit went on a four-play drive that culminated in a touchdown run by Daniels. You can check out the play in the highlight above.
