ATLANTA -- The White Sox scored a total of five runs during four straight losses leading into their series opener Monday night against the Braves at Truist Park.

They topped that total in the fourth inning alone against Spencer Strider during a 13-9 victory , ending a seven-game road losing streak. They also temporarily broke loose from a 2-11 funk after posting a 10-4 mark immediately after the All-Star break.

Holding a 1-0 lead in the fourth, the White Sox started the frame with an Andrew Benintendi single and a long home run to left from Luis Robert Jr. That 405-foot drive gave Robert 101 home runs for his career against 100 stolen bases.
