A federal agent fired his weapon after an illegal immigrant driver rammed two Customs and Border Protection agents at a traffic stop.

During an immigration stop in southern California, a driver refused to lower his window, then sped and rammed into two agents. According to a Department of Homeland Security statement, one of the agents fired his weapon in self-defense after the ramming, though no one was hit. DHS did not disclose any injuries to the agents.
