A Midlothian family whose home was set on fire said the arsonist wasn't their only shock.
The Wilson family said an unknown person poured gas on their home around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, set it on fire, and ran. Six adults and two small children were inside the house.
Midlothian police confirm an arson investigation is ongoing.
Later the same day, the arson victims said they got notices from their HOA's property management company, Goddard Management. The notices asked the family to clean up the burned areas hours after the arson happened.
"We're on rotation. Someone sleeps, someone gets up to be on watch," Wahsheida Wilson said. "I don't like living like this. Not at all. I don't feel safe."
