A motorcyclist is fighting for his life following a horror crash in Aberdeen .

The collision between a black Talaria motorcycle and a white Dacia Logan car happened at around 4.25pm yesterday (Monday, August 18) on Westburn Road near to Westburn Park.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and the 32-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary . His condition is described as critical.

The female driver and female passenger of the car were not injured.

The road was closed for around five hours to allow for crash investigations to take place before reopening at around 9.40pm.
