A man has tragically died after suffering a medical emergency at a busy shopping centre .
Paramedics rushed to Broadgate, in Coventry, on Monday following reports of the man suffering a cardiac arrest outside a Primark store . Horrified shoppers dialled 999 just after 9am yesterday, with emergency crews arriving in minutes. A cordon was put in place in the middle of the busy shopping centre, with shops taped off from the public.
Officers were first seen performing CPR on the man who had taken ill near Primark. Medics then took over resuscitation efforts and continued advanced life support on the way to University Hospital Coventry.
