Hillary Anderson, Barrington, Forward (2006-09)

Anderson opened her career with a title, closed it by being named MVP of another and was a star for all four. A Second Team All-State selection her freshman season, Anderson was one of Rhode Island’s top scorers in the 2000s, earning three straight First Team honors before closing her career with the game-winning overtime goal in the Eagles’ state title win in 2009. Anderson closed her career with 46 goals and 55 assists and went on to play four years at Providence College. Glenn Osmundson, The Providence Journal

Janelle Avila, North Kingstown, Forward (2000-03)

One of the best players in state history, Avila had a dynamic career with the Skippers. She made waves as a freshman before becoming a First Team All-State selection as a sophomor
