Jimmy Thelin has named his squad for Aberdeen's Europa League play-off with FCSB this week.

As many predicted, the Dons manager has left out injured pair Emmanuel Gyamfi and Kristers Tobers.

The defensive duo are expected to come back into the squad for the group sections, in the Europa League or Conference League.

Clearance has not arrived yet for Thelin's new signings Marko Lazetic and Kenan Bilalovic either.

If he gets that before Wednesday they he could include them as wildcard signings, although he would need to take two of his named squad out, the Record Sport reports .

Aberdeen can name two wildcards before Wednesday.

Striker Peter Ambrose, one of Thelin's first signings, has been left out of the squad.
