Lexie Glass and her husband, Evan Hursley, tore out their lawns and created gardens that are drought-resistant, attractive to wildlife and beautiful.

The couple began the process of replacing their front and back lawns with California-appropriate plants in January 2022.

A turf replacement rebate paid for the materials. The couple did the rest.
