The Banana Ball craze is sweeping the nation, literally. The Savannah Bananas have a goal to play at least one game in every state, which includes Wyoming.

The Casper Spuds have extended the invitation for the dynamic Bananas to come to town and play a game at Mike Lansing Field.

If you haven't heard of the Savannah Bananas, I'm not sure what rock you've been hiding under. They are the hottest sports team in the world right now. The team started as a minor league team in Savannah, Georgia, and has now taken their unique style on the road.

They've created the Banana Ball League, which includes:

Bananas

Party Animals

Firefighters

Texas Tailgaters

Two more teams to be announced later this fall.

A couple of weeks ago, they packed Coors Field in Denver, selling out back-to-back nights.
