PHOENIX — President Donald Trump is calling for the end of mail-in voting and expensive voting machines nationwide.

On Monday, he announced plans to sign an executive order he said "would help bring honesty to the 2026 Midterm Elections."

Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes said roughly 75 percent of Arizonans voted early in 2024, mostly by mail.

Across the U.S., about a third of voters vote this way.

Even though this method is popular, the President said he wants this to change.
