Singer Josey Scott would like to come back to Saliva , but just not the current incarnation of the rock band. The singer/songwriter, 53, was the band’s lead singer during the band’s inception in 1996, all the way until 2011. After recording seven albums during a 15-year time span, Scott decided to leave the band to “be a father and get sober and clean up [his] life and find [himself] mentally and spiritually and philosophically,” as he told Tulsa Stream Music . From there, Bobby Amaru has taken over lead vocals for the band and continues to front them to this day.

In a recent interview with Youngstown Studio , Scott made it clear that he had no intention of rejoining the band he co-founded. He specifically points to tensions with Amaru being the reason.
