The fourth seed Donohue’s Kaos Club takes a 1-0 series lead in the Papas Elite Championship Finals edging out the third seed Zards, 64-62 on Monday night.

Miles Wright led three in double figures for Donohue’s netting 20 points, while his fellow Dartmouth teammate Guilien Smith followed up with 18 and Reed Timmer notched 11.

Joey Flannery led the Zards with 20 points, while Sam Longwell followd up with 12 points and Matt Karpowicz added 10 points.

Game two of the Elite Finals will tip off on Tuesday, August 19 at 9:15 p.m. following three O’Brien-Jerahian Legends League games.
