SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PENNSYLVANIA— The Little League World Series has wrapped up its second round of play, and the field is starting to narrow as several teams suffered their second loss of the tournament.
Four U.S. squads— Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Massachusetts— along with four international teams— Puerto Rico, Australia, Czechia, and Panama— have been eliminated, with Tuesday and Wednesday’s slates threatening to trim the bracket even further.
