ANKENY, Iowa —

The Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that its senior director of membership and partnership has been promoted to executive director.

In a release, the chamber said Jamie Anderson will work alongside interim CEO Trent Murphy during the transition in the coming months.

Murphy took over for former chamber CEO Melisa Cox. Last month, Cox was sentenced to five years probation for the theft of more than $250,000 from the chamber in 2023 and 2024.
