Halo is coming to PlayStation, but not in the way you might have been hoping for , at least for now. A new Helldivers 2 warbond as part of the game's arrival on Xbox next week brings the look of Halo: ODST to Super Earth's brave Helldivers across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

If you showed a gamer from 20 years ago the following trailer, where a Halo-related announcement began with the PlayStation Studios logo, they'd be shocked and awed. But in 2025, with Gears of War: Reloaded set to arrive on PS5 next week , and several previously Xbox-exclusive titles already on PlayStation, it's far less surprising, but no less fun to see for anyone who remembers what the divide between platforms felt like 20 years ago.
