Wyc Grousbeck might no longer be operating as governor of the Boston Celtics, but it appears as though he will very much remain in the thick of the team’s ownership.
After months of dotting I’s and crossing T’s, the sale of the Celtics officially closed Tuesday, with the team getting sold to Bill Chisholm. The NBA had approved the deal last week, so Tuesday signifies that the money effectively has been exchanged to transfer ownership to Chisholm.
