Police have launched a probe after five quad bikes were stolen from Aberdeenshire farms.

The thefts happened from farms along the A97 between Aberchirder and Alford between Friday and Sunday, August 15 to 17.

Officers have said that it is believed a grey Ford Ranger vehicle was used to tow the bikes on a trailer.

Police Scotland is now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any of the incidents or have dash-cam footage to contact them.
