Kaibab National Forest announced it is continuing to reduce its temporary closure area on the western portion of North Kaibab Ranger District beginning on Tuesday , Aug. 19 .

As fire behavior from the Dragon Bravo Fire has decreased with containment increasing, fire crews have shifted focus to suppression repair and allowed large areas of the forest to be reopened without compromising fire operations or public safety. Copy article link
