One of the two children struck by a vehicle in East Brunswick on Monday afternoon was seriously injured, authorities said.
The two were hit around 1:50 p.m. at the intersection of Rues Lane and New Brunswick Avenue, East Brunswick police said.
An 11-year-old suffered serious injuries that are not considered life-threatening, while a 13-year-old was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
The driver stopped at the scene and the crash remains under investigation.
