SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Today’s conditions will compete for the hottest we have seen so far this summer and this year! Yesterday, highs reached 104 in Shreveport and 106 in Texarkana, so today’s highs have some big shoes to fill, but it is possible! Due to feels like temperatures potentially reaching 110 in a few areas, an Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for many areas around I-20 and northward. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for surrounding areas and both heat products will last until 8pm tonight!
