CANMORE — The Canmore RCMP detachment is aiming to encourage community stewardship and promote public safety with the return of their annual positive ticketing program.
Operating from July until September, local law enforcement will be keeping an eye out for people demonstrating good personal safety habits, such as wearing helmets while on bicycles, using personal floatation devices in waterways, or following the rules of the road.
Positive tickets may also be issued to folks spotted doing good deeds around the community.
