The New York Yankees were dealt a crushing blow a few weeks ago when superstar Aaron Judge was diagnosed with a flexor strain. This injury only seems to limit Judge's ability to throw the ball, as he's been back in the lineup as the designated hitter for a week or so.
But having Judge clog the DH slot causes a few issues for the Yankees and slugger Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton can't play the outfield every day at this stage in his career, so the Yankees faithful are patiently awaiting the return of Judge to the outfield.
But manager Aaron Boone doesn't expect the return to the field to come against the Tampa Bay Rays this week.
