In-N-Out Burger has added Smyrna to its list of potential Middle Tennessee restaurant locations and submitted plans to build a new restaurant in the city.

The location is 999 Industrial Boulevard, according to planning documents.

The proposed In-N-Out site is now home to Hickory Falls Wood-Fired Bar & Grill restaurant that would be demolished to make way for the In-N-Out if approved, according to the present site plan.

The site layout shows Industrial Boulevard and Team Boulevard as access points. Two drive-thru lanes are proposed.

The proposed In-N-Out was scheduled on the Smyrna Planning Commission meeting in July, but was deferred for two months for more consideration of traffic flow and the proposed architectural designs, city spokesperson Heather Kent said.
