Musician Kid Rock made it clear on Monday that Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) does not have his support despite Newsom sharing the rock star’s image on social media .

This month, Newsom’s press office pursued a new social media strategy to mirror that of President Donald Trump. Since Kid Rock is a staunch ally of the president, Kid Rock became a target in Newsom’s campaign to mock Trump.
