Two guinea pigs that were stolen from a front lawn in Kitchener have been returned to the owner after being missing for only a day.

Barbara Robinson said that the pigs were brought to the local humane society and will not ask any more questions about their disappearance.

“I want to thank the folks who returned them, from the bottom of my heart,” said Robinson.

“I am not sharing any additional information about their return. They made a mistake, and they corrected it. That’s all any of us could have done.”

Robinson’s beloved guinea pigs, Rocky and Scotchie, can typically be found in a large pen on her front lawn in Belmont Village and quickly became a neighbourhood favourite.
