At the annual ‘Elkhart Greater Chamber of Commerce Luncheon’.

Election years can be turbulent for the economy, so local leaders came together to talk about this year’s outlook.

The keynote speaker took the stage to address the state of the economy and what the future looks like.

The speaker was Tom Jalics, the Chief Investment Strategist for 5th 3rd Bank.

He talked about the pros and cons of the United States economy.

Including the strong economy, low unemployment claims and low household debt.

On the other hand, businesses are still struggling to adjust to the tariffs that have not been settled just yet.
