A sequel to Game Science’s hit 2024 video game “ Black Myth: Wukong ,” titled “Black Myth: Zhong Kui,” was revealed during the Opening Night Live presentation at Gamescom 2025 on Tuesday.

Per a post shared on X by China-based developer and publisher Game Science , “This single-player action role-playing game draws its primary creative inspiration from the famed Chinese folk figure ‘Zhong Kui.'”

A cinematic teaser of the game was shared during Gamescom, but, “as the project is still in early development, no in-game footage is available at this time,” Game Science noted.
