FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons' Monday moves continued when the organization announced the signing of edge rusher Ronnie Perkins. The transaction was first reported by Jordan Schultz.

This addition comes after the Falcons released wide receiver D.J. Chark and waived/injured quarterback Emory Jones. They also announced the signing of quarterback Ben DiNucci on Monday morning.

Perkins was a third-round draft pick for the New England Patriots in 2021. He made his debut in 2023 with the Denver Broncos, appearing seven games and making 13 tackles and a quarterback hit.

Perkins spent a month on injured last season before the Broncos released him. He later wound up on the Arizona Cardinals' practice squad.
