A Hartford man is facing multiple charges after a vehicle he was a passenger in was allegedly used during a break-in at a car dealership in Berlin and later crashed into a police cruiser while he was attempting to flee from officers.
Officers responded to a report of masked individuals allegedly attempting to break into vehicles at a local auto dealership on Saturday, according to the Berlin Police Department .
Responding officers located a suspect vehicle at another dealership north of the original scene and attempted to stop the suspects, police said. The vehicle then allegedly rammed a police cruiser before fleeing at a high rate of speed.
