A body has been found in the search for missing dad. ‌

Brandon Parfitt, 28, was reported missing on Sunday evening. The dad, from Ebbw Vale in Wales, had a newborn son less than two months old. ‌

Officers say formal identification of the body is yet to take place - however, Brandon's heartbroken family have been notified. ‌

As reported by the Mirror , police also said their "thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time".

In a statement on Tuesday evening, a spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "We received a call that the body of a man had been found in Pontygof, Ebbw Vale, on Tuesday 19 August.

"Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the family of Brandon Parfitt, have been notified."
