A 24-year-old Ohio woman will spend about two decades behind bars after she killed her mother when she hit her with a car and pinned her against a garage wall.
Anna Millette was sentenced to 21 years in prison on Tuesday for the death of 64-year-old Joyce Millette, according to local ABC affiliate WCPO . The younger Millette pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and felonious assault. She was originally facing a murder charge .
The defendant's father, Richard Millette, asked the judge for compassion, saying Joyce Millette had tried to get her daughter help before the slaying.
