Police in Delta are renewing an appeal for help finding a 26-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a child last year.

On Sept. 12, 2024, a child was allegedly sexually assaulted in city south of Vancouver.

In May, the Delta Police Department’s vulnerable sector unit and Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers issued a public appeal to help investigators locate Gurkirat Singh to stand trial on the allegations.

Singh is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching and sexual interference of a person under 16.

He is six feet tall, about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police say Singh may have altered his appearance.
