A Paragould school employee was arrested Tuesday and accused of inappropriately recording children in school without their knowledge, police said.

Dakota Hudson, 24, was arrested by Paragould police on a charge of video voyeurism, a felony. According to an arrest affidavit, police investigating a report that Hudson had been inappropriately recording children interviewed Hudson, and he made "incriminating statements."

"The district is aware of the charges filed against a paraprofessional," Paragould School District Superintendent Nick Jankoviak said in a statement to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. "We take all allegations of inappropriate conduct with the utmost seriousness and will conduct a thorough investigation."
