ATLANTA — Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has faced some criticism for how she handled some high-profile cases here in Atlanta.

11Alive's Faith Jessie sits down with Capitol B Atlanta's Madeline Thigpen to discuss her interview with DA Willis.

In a wide-ranging, two-part interview with Thigpen, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis defended her record and addressed criticism of her handling of high-profile cases--including her prosecution of former President Donald Trump.

Willis declined to share new legal details about the Trump case but, according to Thigpen, "made it clear that she's not letting the politics dictate what she's doing...and that her focus is on following the law and the evidence."
