ROCKFORD, Mich. —
Rockford parents Sarah and Paul Tucker believe their son, Wren, is toddler of the year.
They came across the Toddler of the Year competition on Facebook and entered him on a whim because, as they said, it's a "very good charity" and a "very good cause."
The competition is a national contest that celebrates toddlers aged two to three. It’s also a fundraising campaign for Toys for Tots. Each vote counts as an equal dollar donation to the foundation.
The winning toddler also gets $25,000 for their family.
“Let's say, if you donate $25 to Toys for Tots, that's 25 votes to Wren in the competition, but there's a free vote every day that somebody is capable of making,” Sarah said.
Wren is currently in fifth place in his group.
