BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Officials with the FBI’s Jackson Division are looking to identify potential victims of a former gymnastics coach in Prairieville.

According to officials, Sean Michael Gardner was recently charged with sexual exploitation of children. He is in custody in the Polk County Jail in Iowa.

The FBI says they believe Gardner primarily targeted children who utilized gymnastic facilities at multiple locations, including one called Athletes in Motion in Prairieville. He worked there from 2004 to 2014, according to the FBI.

Gardner also worked in Purvis, Mississippi, and most recently in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Athletes in Motion released the following statement to WAFB:

We were recently notified by law enforcement that a former employee is the target of an investigation
