AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A 31-year-old man who was accused of selling fentanyl in the Del Valle area was taken into custody, the Austin Police Department said in a Tuesday press release.
Brett Garza was arrested on Aug. 14 after police found a large quantity of fentanyl, cocaine and U.S. currency in his vehicle, APD said. Garza's arrest comes after a tip led to a six-month investigation.
Charges for Garza are pending at this time, according to APD.
In the release, police said Garza was stopped after leaving a residence. APD then executed a search warrant.
