AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Jim Hudson Automotive Group on Tuesday presented a large donation check to the Golden Harvest Food Bank.

The $50,000 check presentation is the result of a successful 14th annual Jim Hudson 2000 Event, which raises money to feed the hungry.

Augusta Players to hold two events for capital campaign

Officials cut the ribbon on the new Augusta Players theatre in May, and the players are now settling in.

This year marks the company’s 14 millionth meal donation to the food bank.

During the two-month event, all 10 Jim Hudson locations were challenged to sell 2,000 vehicles in two months in hopes of reaching a 1 million meal donation for Harvest Hope/Golden Harvest.
